Deleting your account and data

There are two ways to request deletion:

• In the app (recommended): sign in, then go to Settings → Delete account. You will be asked to confirm by typing your account email address before deletion proceeds.
• By email: if you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• your profile and account details, and your app preferences;
• your tasks, notes, reminders, people, projects, life areas and contexts;
• your captured items and “brain dump” sessions;
• your saved calendar connections and the calendar events synced into Pleana;
• your AI interaction records;
• sign-in sessions and any saved authentication links to Google, Microsoft or Apple.

When you delete your account, Pleana removes the calendar access it holds for you. For Google, we also attempt to revoke the access token we stored at the point of deletion. For Microsoft, we remove our stored tokens; you can additionally review or remove app access in your Microsoft account security settings at myaccount.microsoft.com. Because Pleana only ever had read-only access, deletion does not change anything in your calendar itself.

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately: your account and the data listed above are removed when you confirm. Pleana does not currently process payments, so there are no billing or accounting records retained after deletion. Routine backups of our systems may retain residual copies for a short period before they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle; these are not used to restore deleted accounts.
